Lisa Kollman – Acting

Lisa got bit by the “acting bug” at the age of 15 when she performed in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Theatre became her focus while in HS and college, til she married her HS sweetheart (who played Charlie Brown) and they moved to England for 2 years in 1990.

In 2008, after living in Germany for 6 years and traveling extensively, they moved to Phoenix where Lisa got involved with MoezArt Productions (an educational theatre company) with her daughter McKenna, whom she homeschooled. In 2013 she became a theatre director/teacher with MoezArt and then the Educational Director, until summer 2021 when she briefly moved to Dallas.

She is back in The Valley, and back to doing what she loves, teaching kids and directing theatre. She is currently directing the musical Once Upon a Mattress. Past shows include Hello Dolly, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Fools, to name a few. You can also find her directing a community theatre show, or acting in one, when she has the time.
