Travis has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He currently teaches music, theatre and technology at the Fine Arts Academy in the Littleton Elementary School District. He also directs a before and after school choir program consisting of over a hundred singers that range from 8 to 14 years of age.
A classically trained Tenor who began singing at the age of 7, Travis has participated in many solo, group and choral music experiences. Through the years, Travis has had the honor and distinction in receiving the Maricopa Community College’s Promising Artist’s award in 2010, represented the state of Arizona in the 2012 ACDA National Men’s Honor Choir and has celebrated a choral performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall with NAU’s Shrine of the Ages Chorale in 2013. In addition to teaching and performing, Travis also enjoys music composing, writing and hiking.
