In this camp, students will learn the differences between knitting, crocheting, and knotting while creating colorful yarn projects like “granny squares” that show how patterns in yarn are similar to coding logic. Campers will also design and create their own jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, keychains, and hair accessories using tools they may not have access to at home. Along the way, students will discover fun facts about historical female programmers and innovators.

Group 1: Ages 7-11, Group 2: Ages 12+
