Sonia Honsberger has had a huge passion for the arts from a very young age. She couldn’t imagine her life without the many ballet, piano, voice and guitar lessons that have shaped her artistic knowledge and prepared her for the honor of teaching young dancers. Sonia began dancing when she was three years old, her training includes dancing at The School of Ballet Arizona and Kat’s Classical Ballet under both Bonnie Calvert and Alicen Carter. Her involvement with Kat’s Artist Tree includes a lengthy repertoire of Ballet Showcases, and numerous Recitals. Her experience in dance branches to a variety of styles, including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, and more. Some of her most prominent performances include The Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker Fantasy with Triad Performing Arts of Arizona, and The Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty Ballet. She is so proud to further the instruction and education of the future of Kat’s Classical Ballet Program and is thankful for the opportunity. Her students’ success is her biggest achievement, and she can’t wait to see how they will grow with their love of ballet.
