Taylor Cienega is a vocalist, actress and musician from Cottonwood, Arizona. She graduated magna cum laude from Colorado Mesa University with a BFA in musical theatre performance and also has an AA in musical theater performance from Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona.
She has been studying voice and musical theatre for over 7 years, and taught general music education for two years at Legacy Traditional School, where she also directed the school musicals. Taylor has been involved in theatre for 20 years, and it has been something she has loved as long as she can remember; her biggest influence being Julie Andrews. Some of her favorites roles she has had the privilege to play are Jo from “Little Women”, Tzeitel from “Fiddler on the Roof”, John Hancock in all female production of “1776”, and many more. She has trained in many different styles of singing, such as: opera, jazz, country, pop, rock and musical theatre. Her personal preferences being pop, jazz and of course, musical theatre.
Taylor thoroughly enjoys sharing her love of music with students who share the same passion. Helping grow the hopes, dreams and artistry of the next generation brings her great joy and she is thrilled that is something she gets to do.
