Kellie grew up in California and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Elementary Education. She has always loved music but truly found a passion for music and the arts through her children. They have taken lessons in piano, voice, guitar, dance, and theater pretty much since preschool. Upon moving to Arizona in 2018, they found Kat’s Artist Tree as their new home for all things artistic, which also gave Kellie the opportunity to take voice lessons with Kat and pursue her own desire to build her singing and performing skills. In 2020, she became a co-founder of Triad Performing Arts of Arizona and served as president of the board of Triad for the next 3 years. It is so rewarding to see it still going strong today! During this time, Kellie was also working in finance for the State of Arizona – she is truly excited to be back in the arts world and supporting the mission and vision of Kat’s Artist Tree.
