We are excited to announce the upcoming art gallery on Saturday, November 4th, 12-2 PM. We appreciate the hard work your kids put in to make quality art, and would love to share it with the rest of KAT’s! Until that time, we will just be keeping all the artwork in class to prepare for the show. If your child brought home artwork, please try to bring it in the next few classes so we can put it in the gallery. It would be ideal if everyone had at least 2-3 pieces in the window display. I know that they are used to seeing their artwork, but others passing by are often amazed and inspired by it.

Our classical ballet program will be performing excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, as well as original choreography in tap, jazz, and contemporary. All students will be performing in all 3 shows.
We are thrilled to have the chance to celebrate all our students have learned in class and see them perform on stage! This year we will be performing a story ballet. Each class has an important role in bringing the this show to life. Mark your calendars and invite your family and friends! Performances are an exciting and important part of a student’s dance education. Participation is a mandatory part of the dance curriculum. Class attendance is crucial to students feeling confident on stage, and to the success of the entire class. Multiple unexcused absences may result in being removed from the performance at the dance director’s discretion. Dress rehearsal attendance is required to perform. No refunds will be issued.
PERFORMANCE FEES
To put on the high-quality performance our students deserve, a performance fee will be added to February invoices. This fee will cover expenses such as costumes, choreography, music editing, etc. Costumes will be yours to keep and will be sent home with your dancer following their final performance. Fees will be tiered according to the number of unique classes an individual student takes:
Pre-Ballet = $70
1 class = $80 per student (including Ballet Level III)
2 or more classes = $140 (Including Ballet Levels IV & V, or ex. Ballet & Tap, etc.)

Please note, if your dancer takes any additional non-dance related classes with us (music lessons, art, etc) those classes are still running as per usual this week. Only dance classes will be off.
